This pack specializes in clean and edge of breakup tones for the Fractal Audio FM9 with firmware 2.02, up to firmware 7.00 as of today. There’s 61 presets here, including 21 special effects, the famous “Wicked games” and 38 pristine clean presets, each with 8 scenes, the first 4 being tonal variations (standard, scooped, fat, edge of breakup) and the other 4 “effects” scenes (*). These 38 presets uses 33 different amp models. They can also be used as pedal platform – just bypass the compressor for that. Those presets are also great for P&W, specially the edge of breakup and ambient scenes !

The presets were made with a Strat-type HSS guitar, using single coils, and checked with other guitars, including an Ibanez with twin humbuckers. The Mesa clean models, and specially the “USA JP IIC+ Green” preset, were tweaked with the Ibanez. Updates, if necessary because of changes in the firmware, will be free.
Also included are 15 user cabs, as those presets are for FRFR systems.

Many of the first 40 presets, in the “edge” scene (usually scene 4) may be in the ballpark. But even better, there’s the “Texas blues” presets in the “Blues+Boutique” pack for that
