These 96 presets are those I use with my cover bands, with which I play classic rock/pop/heavy rock/metal. Firmware version : up to 7.00. Keyword here is versatility, as there’s a little bit of everything : 8 clean presets, 9 crunch & mid gain presets, 24 high gain presets (rhythm and leads), 19 special effects presets, 36 song-specific presets (U2, Metallica, Alter Bridge, Yes, Guns’n’Roses, Scorpions, Megadeth, Europe, Iron Maiden, Soundgarden, Linkin Park, Dire Straits, Van Halen, Deep Purple, Queen, Breaking Benjamin, Puddle of Mud etc.). Also included are 33 user IRs, and global scales for the Pitch Block, as some presets uses “intelligent” harmonies.
They will work with a variety of guitars but are optimized for superstrats with a humbucker in bridge. I usually use position 4 of the pickup selector (middle single coil pickup + split bridge humbucker) for the clean and crunch presets, and the bridge or neck humbuckers for mid to high gain. A Les Paul guitar was used for “brothers in Arms” and “Firth of fifth”.
These presets uses 3 expression pedals and are optimized for the 8 scenes layout, as most have several scenes.
I used some of the presets (with firmware 3.0) to demo a Squier guitar :
…and a Yahama Revstar (from 0:15 to 5:09) :

Hi Fred, it’s detailed in the PDF in the pack :
Check this video for the cabs installation procedure :

I am using the drag & drop method – please unzip the files in a folder first, you can’t install directly
from a .zip archive.
You need to drag & drop each cab to its correct user memory slot, according to its filename
Cab “0003_Morgan AC20 1×12 brighter.syx” goes to user slot 0003
Cab “0008 – TDR Fender 2” goes to user slot 0008, etc.
Note that if cabs must be stored at specific user slots, presets can be put anywhere in your FM9.
