This pack has 95 presets (*) covering 28 Pink Floyd songs : Another brick in the wall Pt 1 & 2, The happiest days of our lives, Breathe, Comfortably numb, Coming back to life, Dogs, Echoes (intro/verses/chorus/main solo only), Goodbye blue sky, Have a cigar, Hey you, High hopes, In the flesh, Marooned, Money, Mother, On the turning away, Run like hell, Shine on you crazy diamond, The final cut, The great gig in the sky, Time, Us and them, Any color you like, Brain damage/Eclipse, Wish you were here, Young lust (with “Sorrow” intro).
EDIT 20/04/2021 : updated to firmware 3.10, with added blocks and better acoustic simulation sounds, + a bonus “synthpad” preset.
(*) Coming back to life and Dogs were added with firmware 3.15. I also re-dialed these presets to have a warmer/fatter distortion sound (I used a brand new IR for that), with less gain. Plus, I fine-tuned many effects, and used the new Dynamic Hall reverb when possible. If you had the previous version of the presets, I recommend that you use the latest one, which is improved. Please note that the cabs selection is slightly different.
The video below was recorded with an older firmware, with only 6 blocks, the presets have been improved since :
These presets are based on the Line 6 Helix versions included in my Helix Big Pack (and now as a standalone pack too), except that they were made with a Fender Stratocaster with a Fishman Fluence pickups set. Of course, the Helix doesn’t have the 8 blocks limitation of the HX Stomp, so the original presets are often more complex (for example, more modulation blocks etc.). Making a HX Stomp version was a challenge ! Some presets uses acoustic sounds in specific scenes ; use the neck pickup of your Stratocaster with those !
The songs are those I play with my Pink Floyd cover band. Most of the time we cover the original studio versions, sometimes it’s the live versions. For “Mother”, we play the Roger Waters “The Wall” live version ; for “Any color you like”, the Dream Theater cover version. “Money” is tweaked for the “Delicate sound of thunder” live version, “Comfortably numb” too. Note that I used an Axe-Fx II, then Axe-FX III, live with my band. This pack, made after receiving many requests, is a recreation of those Axe-Fx presets.

After Lockdown my band decided to go direct and got myself an Hx Stomp. What an awesome little unit! Since we do a PF cover gig, I was looking for a suitable preset pack as I did not have the time to fiddle forever with the Hx Stomp and I also lack the expertise to dive that deep.
I am really enjoying this pack very much. I was expecting modeled tube drivers, Big Muffs and Fuzz Faces all over the place, but to my surprise it is basically all amp distortion. But the sounds work very well. I have yet to rehearse them in full band context but I anticipate that they work very well there too. At least with my Studio monitors turned way up it sounds very good and is not too shrill or lack mids both of which are deadly in a live context.
I worked through most of the presets and I think they are very good and true to the originals, in particular on the EQ. Well done! My only slight gripes is that the riff patch to “Have a Cigar” and to some extent the “Echoes Theme” have far too much gain (I am playing a black Strat). There isn’t much gain in the originals and that suits the song better (IMHO). Of course, at the end it is all a matter of taste and what works in context rather than trying to copy the original to the triple-t. With the guitar volume rolled back it still kind of works. But these are details. Overall, I am very happy that I bought the pack!

Hello Fremen,
I’m coming to buy the Pack Pink Floyd for HX Stomp.
I use a strat fender america with 3 picks
So the volume is very very low and I used to Firmware 3.1.0 for Helix Edit.
I need help for step up the Parck Distorsion too
Thanks
Wait for you Freemen
Fremen
Hello ! Did you install the user cabs, at the correct slots, as explained in the PDF ?
Emmanuel JOSEPH
OKay Freemen.
Everything is alright
I forgot to setup the IRs
Thank you bro

Hi,
Greetings from India. The Pink Floyd patches are awesome.
Do you offer this standalone for Helix LT? Also, most of my IR slots from 74 – 98 are occupied – how difficult is it to move the IRs to other slots and point the patches to those slots in HX Edit?
Best regards,
Gourab.
Fremen
Yes, on demand, for the same price. It should not be difficult to do for someone well organized and who knows how to tweak presets a minimum.

Does this work with pod go?
Fremen
No, but there is a Pod Go version, see the pod Go section
arminio
correction: To me that suggests that the tempo is incorrectly set to **120** in all the presets.
Fremen
Hello, I fixed everything ! All the delay times are fine now, please re-download the pack, there’s a new folder for firmware 2.92. I guess that things got messed up with that firmware.
Fremen
On it ! Will get back to you soon
arminio
Hi again,
Are you sure you have checked the tempo on the latest version which I downloaded yesterday? I opened the .hlx files one by one and they all have this section in there:
“@tempo” : 120.0,….
To me that suggests that the tempo is incorrectly set to 200 in all the presets. Can you please open your .hlx files and check?
arminio
Hi, thanks for putting these Pink Floyd sounds together for the HX stomp!
I am a new Stomp user so it suspect it’s me that’s lacking the appropriate experience in setting things up correctly. I am noticing that in (may be all?) the presets the Delays’ Time settings are set to bars rather than milliseconds (eg: 1/4 instead of 200ms). This is causing the presets’ delay to be affected by my globad tempo settings it seems and it causing very bad results for me based on what the global tempo is set to.
What do you advise for addressing this issue?
Fremen
Hello, I don’t use global tempo, each preset should have its own tempo, which is the tempo of the original song, or slightly faster when I inspired myself by the live version. You should use “per preset” tempo settings (top right of HX Edit)
Cheers
arminio
Thanks for the quick response.
I changed that setting to “per preset” as you recommended but that didn’t elminite my issue. So I started digging deeper.
Something doesn’t look right here. When I do a soft touch on the FS3 to show the tempo, I get the BPM of 120 for all of the presets. It even shows 120 BPM in HX edit (top right corner) for all Pink Floyd presets. I have tested this by importing other presets (by another vendor) and the tempo is set correctly for those newly imported presets. So it seems that it’s the Pink Floyd presets that are having the tempo being set to 120 across the board.
Can you please double check the preset tempos at your end?
Fremen
I already did and the presets have various tempos. Maybe try to re import them now that you have set your HX Stomp to per preset
arminio
No sorry, I already tried re-importing all the presets (using two methods: importing the .hls file and dragging the presets manually) before I wrote my previous message.
