70 presets (*) for Axe-Fx III firmware 8.0 (older firmware not supported), for all styles of high gain. All the presets have multiple scenes, most of the time including rhythm, crunch and lead settings. As you can see in the presets list, I focused on a few brand of amps, there’s also a second Rock & Metal pack with other amp models not used here.
(*) 66 presets for latest firmware version included, which is 25.02 ; I didn’t update some of the older bonus presets but they’re also available in the “old firmware” sub-folder.
Also included are 29 user cabs, which must be installed at the user spots indicated by their names (see video, link below). Some of those cabs are my personal mixes of Valhallir.at cabs. Check all their cabs here : http://valhallir.at/en/

Electric Aussie Sunrise Inspired by Plini (*)
Andy T. VA 5.0 Inspired by my favorite guitar player, Andy Timmons (*) (preset renamed for Cygnus)
The story of gravity Inspired by Steve Vai (*)
(*) I was at Vai Academy 5.0, which was about sound sculpting, and where I got to meet (and jam with !) artists like Steve Vai, Andy Timmons, Plini, Devin Townsend or Larry Mitchell. So when they detailed their pedals/amps/effects settings, I took notes, recorded videos etc.
Important note : I made the “Lead” scenes louder than the other scenes on purpose, as those presets has been made with the gigging guitarist in mind. Of course, they also work for recording. The Input 3 block is there for reamping.
These presets are also made to work with a FC-12 and two expression pedals (most of the time, one for volume, one for wha).
During the months I worked on them, I released a few teasers, here they are :
Demo for a bonus presets added for firmware 14.01 :
I just improved Tool’s “The pot” preset :
Check this video for the presets cabs installation procedure :
You need to drag & drop each cab to its correct spot, according to its filename (Cab 003 goes to user spot 003, etc.)
Note that if cabs must be stored at specific user slots, presets can be put anywhere in your Axe-Fx III.

Hello.
I just recently installed the update for Firmware 21.00 & it sounds great!
It is obvious that you really work hard on these presets & IRs.
You do a great job & offer quality products.
I will be back to purchase more soon.
Thank you & GOD bless!!!

These days we have a number of choices as consumers regarding our software and accessories. However, from the very start this gentleman‘s work was beyond compare. I currently own several of the packages and can attest that the sounds are as splendid as what you hear on the video and audio. That’s not saying that I can play like him! That would be really something. However, the tones are all there. Strongly recommended without reservation. Kudos Maestro.

Just bought the Rock/Metal pack and loving it! One question though, on the “Chords pad 1” preset I can’t figure out how to change the foot pedal used for the volume of the Synth(s), any suggestions?
Fremen
Hello, thanks for your comments, glad you like the pack ! This is a sample preset from my “Synthpads & Drones” pack. The volume block isn’t attached to any foot controller, I use it to fine tune the volume of the synths globally, else, each time I would want to tweak it, I’ll need to do it on each channel of the synth block.

Loving the Rock & Metal Pack! Will you be updating this for the new Cygnus firmware? Thank you!
Fremen
Thank you ! yes, I will update all my packs, this one included. It will take some time though, weeks, if not months for all of them. But this pack is the second one I’ll update, after the Pink Floyd one

Really hoping you will be doing Presets for the Fractal FM3.

I will ! I just need to get one. Already paid for it, it’s currently in the US, waiting for planes to be allowed to land in my country.

Do you have Steve Vai in it? Which one is it?
Dr.rick.whatley@sbcglobal.net
The Steve Vai preset is spot on. I originally purchased the Package largely because of the Vai preset. If you’re anything like me, then you often make a purchase of a preset and the subsequent download leaves you disappointed and frustrated when you play it, as it fails to even resemble the tone you thought you had purchased. You then ask others and get remarks such as “well maybe you were using the wrong guitar” or the wrong cable or monitor or the wrong computer! This is not the case with these presets. If you hear the tone in his advertisement, you will get the tone when you use it with your rig! It’s simply amazing. This guy is the best.
