These 28 presets (including some alternate versions) covers 28 Pink Floyd songs : Another brick in the wall Pt 1 & 2, The happiest days of our lives, Breathe, Comfortably numb, Coming back to life (*), Dogs(*), Echoes (intro/verses/chorus/main solo only, not the psychedelic jam parts), Goodbye blue sky, Have a cigar, Hey you, High hopes, In the flesh, Marooned, Money, Mother, On the turning away, Run like hell, Shine on you crazy diamond, The final cut, The great gig in the sky, Time, Us and them, Any color you like, Brain damage/Eclipse, Wish you were here, Young lust (with “Sorrow” intro).
Latest version included is for firmware 32.06. I don’t have a demo for this one, but here’s a recent demo for firmware 29 (32.06 uses a revamped IR selection and some other tweaks)
All presets were tweaked with two SSS Stratocasters (***) : one with the EMG DG20 kit as used by David Gilmour on PULSE, the other with a Seymour Duncan SSL-5 in bridge, as used by Gilmour on his famous Black Strat. I also changed my approach to the Gilmour sound here, using only overdrive/fuzz pedals into clean amps (Hiwatt DR103 and Fender Twin Reverb). At the beginning of the year, I went into a OD/fuzz pedals buying spree, and spent months experimenting with them (and capturing them with Tonex/Quad Cortex/Headrush Prime etc.). I then recreated my favorite sounds from these experiments with the Axe-Fx III drive models/clean amp platforms.
I also found the best online service to isolate guitar tracks (better than Moises, RipX or Lalala.ai) and used that on all Pink Floyd songs included here, to better isolate, then analyze, the original recordings. As usual, the sounds are a combination of studio and live recordings. Often, the live versions have more ambience (delay/reverb), and more gain. However, here, I use less gain than before.
(***) except “Run like hell”, which should be played on a Telecaster.
Here’s a recording with version 27.00 of the presets, using my band’s live recording as a backing track (my original guitar is muted). This version is inspired mostly by the live sounds from PULSE and Delicate sound of thunder, and uses a brand new IR. I also found a chorus setting that I like to “enlarge” the sound. This version is still compatible with firmware 29 ; use it if you prefer more gain for the distortion sounds.
The presets are an evolution of the Axe-Fx II versions, which I used in this concert in 2017 :
Some older videos with the Axe-Fx III versions :
The presets uses custom cabs, which are included. They also uses 2 expression pedals.

Hi Fremen! Do you have an alternative version for this Floyd pack to Strato Single Coil (Axe Fx 2)?
Your costumer, Christiano Hermida
Thanks
Fremen
Hello, no ! Usually, I just add a Para EQ block as a booster for Strat versions, it’s easy to do and works well

Hi!
To you update your packs to the new 16.00 Firmware?
Fremen
Hi ! All my packs will be updated to firmware 16 (Cygnus) firmware. This will take time, as I have over 800 presets ! But the first one I’ll post will be the Pink Floyd ones. Cheers
Igor Pishchulin
Cool…
Igor Pishchulin

Will you support Quad Cortex in the future? Pink Floyd Pack in particular?
Fremen
Yes I will, I’m currently exploring mine

Simply put-these are THE best Pink Floyd presets available. They are extraordinary, spectacular, and have a life of their own. I find that I want to continue playing because the “feel” of original recordings is somehow contained in these digital presets. They “breathe”, pun intended, and will breathe new life into your playing. Moreover, with the update to Cygnus, the question is no longer, “How close does it sound to a real amp?” The question is now “Can you get a real amp to sound as wondrous as the Fractal Axe Fx IiI?” Stop reading and order these glorious goodies now and it will be the best thing you’ve done in a while to improve your playing. Kudos Maestro!
Fremen
Thank you Rick ! Made my day 🙂

I’m 90% sure the answer is yes, but this will work for the fm9?
Fremen
Most presets, yes. A few are too CPU hungry and I had to found ways to make them work in the FM9
