Axe-Fx II – Fremen’s Picks

Fremen’s picks (Axe-Fx II, Quantum 7.02)

This is my main pack for Axe-Fx II MKI/II, XL/XL+ and Quantum firmware 7.02

(older firmware not supported)

Price: 35 Euros

It’s the presets I use live with my cover bands, or which I use just for fun. They’re all in my bank A, so there’s 128 presets here. They cover all the bases I need : clean, crunch, mid gain, high gain, blues fusion, special effects…

These presets will work with a variety of guitars but are optimized for superstrats with a humbucker in bridge and neck and a single coil in the middle. I used an Ibanez RG to tweak them and usually uses position 4 of the pickup selector (middle single coil pickup + splitted bridge humbucker) for the clean and crunch presets, and the bridge or neck humbuckers for mid to high gain. Updates for these presets, if necessary because of changes in the firmware, will be free for one year (until March 2018)

These presets uses 44 user cabs, which I made from free sources and various techniques like tone matching. All those cabs are included and must be installed at the user spots indicated by their names (see video, link below).

Here’s my user cabs list : Fremen User Cabs (02.04.2017)

A few are my personal mixes of cabs from Valhallir.at, who gave me permission to share them with my presets. Check their cabs here : http://valhallir.at/en/

EDIT 28.07.17 : I added new versions of the Pink Floyd presets, for firmware 8.02. There are small tweaks and improvements, made during the preparation of a Tribute to Pink Floyd gig. This concern 24 presets. “Marooned” is a new one. Current owners of the pack just need to download the zip file again, the presets are in the “Bonus” folder.

Here’s a few videos. the synth pad beneath is also in the preset.

Legal stuff : this is a digital download. No refund even in case of buying by mistake. After purchase, the files will be available in the “Purchase history” section of my website

These files are in a .zip compressed archive, which is a standard format. PC users can use Winrar, Winzip or 7zip to extract them. Popular tools for MAC users are Stuffit Expander, Unrar x or The Unarchiver. Most computers already have tools for that, and most of these applications are free.
