Thanks for the presets – I’m just figuring out how to load them into my AX8. I just saw a video didn’t realize I have to use FractalBot. I thought I was doing it wrong – will try it again tomorrow. Thanks again!

Hi BROTHER!
I not find cabs name S004。
so whats the problem？
THX！
Fremen
The user cabs are numbered and 004 is definitively here
liujuran
U004 and S004 is same cabs？
Fremen
Oh, you mean the scratchpad (temporary cab)… I don’t use it in any preset. If it’s there, it’s in Cab Y but I don’t use cab Y in the relative preset
liujuran
oh，I See！
Thank U very much！
Great presets！！！！
gcaniato
Hi! Those presets use custom IR’s? If so, are they available in the pack?
Fremen
Yes, and yes

Thanks!

Hello, I have a few questions :
– My AX8 works with Quantum 10.01. Can I use this megapack with my AX8 even if you indicate that it works with Quantum 7.02 our Quantum 9.04 ? Will it work together ?
– Does this megapack include all the other AX8 packs, even the “5 scenes pack” ?
– I will often use my AX8 with a power amp and a speaker. Do you have any advice to use your presets in these conditions ?
Thanks and greetings from France
Fremen
Salut Florian,

Hi Fremen.
I will be very glad if you will answer this question in english.
Thanks.
Fremen
Hello, that reply was for a French user with very specific questions and French is easier for me
quick translation : yes my presets works in Q10.01. No corrupted presets, I just noticed that the volume of some of them had changed. As it’s a minor change, I didn’t do an update just for that.
Regarding using a traditional cab I can’t guarantee the result. My presets are optimized for FRFR, the IRs are important. For some it will sound great, others will sound too dark, others too bright etc. Not something which is hard to tweak but for 400 presets it requires patience. For a shorter number of presets, no problem. Besides that, all the packs released before the Megapack are included. [ADDENDUM : The Amp packs, which are newer, are not included, there are other bundles for them]
Hi from Mauritius

Salut Fremen,
musicalement,
Thibault

I am a total dummy when it comes to computers. When purchased , does your packs come with download instructions?
I’m ready to buy but want to make sure I can navigate the install
Thanks
Tom
Fremen
If you mean installation instructions the answer is yes. If you use Teamviewer I can even install them for you, I just did that for a customer
Tgbreedlove
I will gladly pay for you to do it.
I spent a year with my kemper only to find it to cumbersome for me to build off it.
Your presets look exactly like what I need. I’m going to buy the full set .
I a
Just sold the kemper and in process of ordering all my equipment ax8
As soon as I get it here I will make the purchase
Is team viewer something I can download?
Thanks
You have a happy new customer already
Fremen
Yes, and it’s free

Hi
Getting ready to order up equipment and I’m steady catching grief from my buddies about my selection of modelers. They recommend the helix. I am for th ax8
1 do s either one of your pals have the splash amp in it? A favorite of mine
2 is there a reason to get off the ax8 since your setting it up for me?
They say th helix is more user friendly
I’m looking for the best tone but only have sound clips to base my decision
I know I’m asking a lot of questions but I want to be right the first time
Fremen
1 Yes the AX8 has a Splawn and it great
2 Don’t understand the question
Tgbreedlove
Splawn amp sorry my auto spell took over

Hello. I just got myself the MegaPack. There are instructions for each of the packs.
My question is can I load all of them?
Is there any overlap or cancellation between them?
Or maybe a recommended sequence to load them?
Fremen
Hello, you can load everything, there’s no overlap !
xtrips
Hello and Happy new year,
I unzipped all the files and started from the first folder, alphabetically.
I wanted to start from the presets but the Youtube video explaining the procedure didn’t look at all as firmware 10.01 on AX8, so I moved to the cabs.
I did all the cabs from all the Megapack folders, some of them just repeat themselves, overlapping, but some of them completely rewrite cabs with a different kind. Since I applied all of them in sequence I know I lost some previously installed cabs.
Now about the presets, eventually I understood that I had to load them wherever I have some free space. In my AX8 it was free from Bank 55 onward. But there are only Banks up to 64. So what is the recommended procedure in order to load all the presets? To not load them all? To free some space before and load the ones I want? What’s the best practice?
I gotta to say that the accompanying docs don’t cover anything short of the most basic instructions.
Fremen
Hello,
There’s no cab overlaps unless you install all the acoustic simulations – but these are bundle presets and you can store the cabs where you want. It’s not necessary to install all those presets because 2 or 3 should suffice to cover your specific needs, which depends on which guitar/pickups you want to install them.
For the other packs, if you have so little space available, I suggest you install one pack at a time, check the presets you like and keep them, and overwrite those you don’t. Repeat for each pack
Happy new year too !

Hi
I am ordering the mega pack and the rest of my equipment Friday.
I am having trouble loading team viewer so I may hav to figure this out myself.
Does the mega pack have any dead on Motley Crue patches?
Fremen
Hi, nothing specific for Motley Crue, but i would use a hot rodded Marshall amp model for those tones, and I have plenty of presets using those
William Hoffman
Hello,
Can u please tell me where to find the preset you have in the old AX8 pack
Scene 5 Short Delay? (Its like the Nuno Bettencourt Flight of the wounded bumblee delay)
I cant seem to find anything like it in the mega pack that I just purchased. Thanks
Fremen
Hello, Acoustic Sim preset, scene 5
stratdude99
Hey. Are there presets in the Mega Pack that use Amps from the Amp Pack? ie do I need to buy the amp pack as well to make use of every preset?
If not, are there preset packs available that use the new amps in the amp pack?
Fremen
Hello ! Those are separate products, you don’t need the Amp Packs to enjoy the Megapack and vice-versa. But I would suggest you get the megapack first. If you tend to gravitate towards a specific amp model, you can also get just the corresponding amp pack
stratdude99
Good advice. Thanks Fremen.

Bonjour

Will these work with 10.01 version?
Fremen
Absolutely
louise5
I want to use (dual evh 5 secnes preset) –> [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYPfUQYSmpE]
in this video but I don’t have fx2
have it in the ax8 mega pack?
Fremen
No, because such a preset is not possible in the AX8, which has only one amp block and one cab block. All the other presets are there, this one is the only one which is not, due to the hardware limitations.
louise5
thank you for your prompt response.
Is there any plan for the fractal FM3 presets to be released later?
Fremen
You’re welcome ! Yes, my FM3 is on its way, should be here in a week or two
david Chauveau
Bonjour Thibault.
A bientôt!!!
David
Fremen
