This pack for the Fractal Audio AX8, with Quantum firmware 7.02 (older firmware not supported) is a collection of « 5 Scenes » presets, with not less than 88 presets, from 87 different amp models. These are for FRFR systems, not traditional guitar speakers. Updates for these presets, if necessary because of changes in the firmware, will always be free. Latest version available in the package, along with 7.02, is Quantum 9.04 (added : 19/03/2018) .
Each presets has 5 scenes with various amount of gain, from clean (scene 1) to high gain lead (scene 5). Some uses free cabs (which are included), most uses stock cabs.
They will work with a variety of guitars but are optimized for superstrats with a humbucker in bridge and single coils. I made sure that the sound stays clean with bridge humbuckers (DiMarzio The Breed and Norton, Bare Knuckle Holydiver) on scene 1, even with amp models made for high gain.
I used an Ibanez RG to tweak them and plays with position 4 of the pickup selector (middle single coil pickup + splitted bridge humbucker) for the first three scenes, and the bridge humbucker for scenes 4 and 5. Updates for these presets, if necessary because of changes in the firmware, will be free for one year (until March 2018)
These presets uses mostly stock cabs, but also 16 user cabs, which I made from free sources and various techniques like tone matching. All those cabs are included and must be installed at the user spots indicated by their names (see video, link below).

Hi Fremen,
today I purchased your plexi presets. Installation went smoothly as shown in your tutorial videos und your presets are simply stunning. Great work!
So I decided to purchase your 5 scenes presets next.
Do the cabs provided with this bundle fit into the empty spaces left after installing the cabs from the plexi bundle or do I have to overwrite some cabs and the plexi presets wont work properly?
Can I save the amp presets in empty slots to my liking or do I have to regard the numbers of the presets in some way i.e. put preset 1 in an empty slot with an 1 number to ensure the correct matching cabs.
Maybe not so clever questions but I am a noob to my AX8.
Kind regards, Achim
Fremen
Hi Achim, no there’s no IR conflicts, all of my packs uses only one IR setup from my AX8. The place where you put the presets doesn’t matter either, it’s the cab block, and not where you put the preset, which determines what IR is used
Achim Walter
Thanks for your support. Just ordered… 😉

Hi Thibault,
me again… One more question regarding the 5 scenes presets I ordered today:
My AX8 is running on Quantum 10.01 – the 5 scenes presets are yet supporting 9.04 referring to your info text. However – as far as I can say – everything is working fine. Are there any limitations regarding compatibility, sounds etc. on a 10.01 firmware machine?
Thanks in advance, Achim
Fremen
Hi Achim, no, my AX8 is on 10.01 too and I have no issues with the presets

I bought the 5 scenes but I would like to save one of the scenes as main lead drive but I can not. Could you help me, please?

Bonjour ,

Oui cela me semble bon!
